Successfully negotiated the Master Building Agreement and approvals of all required permits and consents for the development of Canary Wharf, London’s financial center containing over 16 million sq. ft. of office, retail, residential, and hotel space. Despite some local anti-development sentiment, steadfastly pursued and navigated through an extensive approval and permitting process, including the alteration of various architectural national landmarks. Negotiated purchase and development rights, along with UK commitment for new roadways and a light-rail system. Ultimately the entire development package was sold at a substantial profit to Olympia & York, a Canadian company.
